Walterboro, SC

A few days ago, Jeremy and I decided to go to Walterboro for the day because (A) I had never been there and it was on our summer bucket list and (B) I get to go there for work once a week. It is kinda like a mix of Orangeburg and West Columbia but it has a very nice historic district with lots of antique and art shops. It was very hot so we were kinda AC skipping from store to store, lol.

Also as a side note: My Mom and I have too much fun in Hobby Lobby

I Love her. She is so awesome.

What Time is it? Adventure Time!

So this week has been so hard...I just needed to put up a post that makes me smile.

I have been wanting to share this post with you FOREVER....but I wanted to make sure it reached its recipient before putting it on the blog.

We have a really good friend in the air force that is in the desert right now so to send him some love from South Carolina, I decided to make him some Adventure Time characters out of toilet paper tubes. (he is the one who introduced us to this show and we are so addicted now) Every fan of this show knows they are about to be super jealous. I Love how they turned out and I hope he loves them too! We miss you Kirk!

In memory of a great man

The past few days have been really hard...we lost my father-in-law very recently Tuesday morning. He was a truly great man. I am trying to take comfort that Papa Fudge is now with God and he has a new body and is more than "fair to middlin". I still remember when I first met him in college, Jeremy and I just started dating and I was meeting his parents for the first time. When his dad saw me he said "wow...you're pretty. You're really pretty! What are you doing dating him for?" Papa Fudge was a loving husband and a great Dad. I wish he could have been here to meet his grandchildren but I know he will be watching us all from heaven. Thank you Lord for this incredible and amazing man.
We love you and will miss you very much.

Biltmore Estate

On Saturday we went to Biltmore Estate. I Love this house. It is probably one of my favorite Historical homes in the United States.

This is the dessert Jeremy and I shared after dinner. It was a "hot chocolate" cake. It was chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and a cinnamon spoon. YUMMY
